Floral and tea-like with notes of grape, papaya, and vanilla — this elegant coffee from the from Adame Kebele, Yirgacheffe, showcases the bright, expressive character of high-altitude Ethiopian coffee.
This exceptional washed coffee hails from the Gedeo Zone in Southern Ethiopia, within the renowned Yirgacheffe district — more specifically, the Adame Kebele. Cultivated by a dedicated community of around 800 smallholder farmers, each tending to plots of less than a hectare, this coffee is a beautiful representation of the region’s rich growing tradition and pristine environment.
At elevations of 1800–1900 metres above sea level, coffee trees thrive in red-brown, fertile soil under shade, with rainfall and temperatures that are ideal for slow, even cherry maturation. These ideal growing conditions, combined with meticulous post-harvest processing, result in a cup that is bright, clean, and complex.
Tasting notes: floral, grape, tea-like, papaya, and vanilla.
Delicately structured and silky, with a juicy sweetness and lingering floral finish — perfect for filter brewing or to elevate your morning cup
