Led by our master roaster Craig Campbell who holds 25+ years of roasting experience, you’ll delve into the nuances of flavour, aroma, and body, unravelling the secrets behind a perfect cup of coffee.

Our course covers a wide range of topics, including the origins of coffee, the coffee production process, and the wide range of variables that influence flavour profiles. You’ll gain practical knowledge on sensory evaluation techniques, mastering the art of cupping, and the vocabulary to describe and assess coffee characteristics.

Whether you aspire to become a coffee connoisseur or simply wish to enhance your coffee-drinking experience, our coffee cupping course is the perfect gateway to levelling up your coffee knowledge.

Home Barista Workshop

Our home barista classes are the perfect hands on way to level-up your coffee at home. Whether you want to gain some espresso theory, learn how to maximize your equipment or impress with some latte art this is the course for you.

Workshops are 2 hours in length and run at our café and roastery in Whangārei.

The Art of Soft Brewing

In this immersive course, you’ll learn the secrets behind a range of soft brewing techniques, including Plunger, V60 and Stovetop. Master the art of grind size, water temperature, and brew times to get the most out of your soft brew.

Our 90 minute workshop give you the handy tips and tricks that will elevate your soft brew and prove that you don’t need an espresso machine to make great coffee.
