Colombia – Paola Trujillo – Micro-lot
$24.00 – $96.00
This 100% Pink Bourbon micro-lot from Paola Trujillo’s Patio Bonito farm in Cauca bursts with notes of lemongrass, molasses, cherry, apricot, and lime.
This exceptional Pink Bourbon micro-lot was grown by Paola Trujillo at her farm, Patio Bonito, in Huila, Colombia. Each cherry was hand-selected at peak ripeness, floated and meticulously sorted to remove defects. The coffee then underwent a 30-hour underwater fermentation before being pulped, gently washed, and dried under temperature-controlled conditions to achieve the perfect moisture content.
This lot is 100% Pink Bourbon — a unique varietal believed to be a natural mutation that occurred at 2,100 metres above sea level in San Adolfo, Huila. Currently under research to trace its full genetic lineage, Pink Bourbon is known for its vibrant and complex cup profile.
In the cup, expect bright notes of lemongrass, rich molasses, red cherries, apricot, and a citrusy lift of lime. A clean, elegant expression of Colombian terroir and precision processing.
